The Sons of Scotland Benevolent Association was founded in 1876 by Scots to provide security and support for Scottish immigrants to Canada.
- We continue to be dedicated to the preservation of Scottish culture in Canada. Our goal is to “preserve among the elements of Canadian Culture the great traditions of Scottish history, music and literature.”
- Today, the Sons of Scotland provides social and cultural activities for our members, while encouraging investment in our communities. We are also active in charitable giving, working with national and local organizations to raise funds for important causes.
- There are 15 local branches from Montreal to Victoria, called Camps, including Camp Argyle in Ottawa.
Through our national office the Sons of Scotland offers scholarships, life insurance products and segregated funds.
